Jason Pippenger grew up in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana. Since very young, he has had a passion for the outdoors, specifically hunting and fishing. During winter months he grew up paddling thru the icy marshes of Reggio, Louisiana in search of the best duck ponds. In the summer months he would scour waterways from Waveland, Mississippi to Lake Pontchartrain searing for that next Redfish or Speckled Trout hook up. He attended De La Salle high school, went on to graduate from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and spent 8 years in the U.S. Navy. From the Navy he went on to work in the hospitality industry. There he learned how to purchase, prep and cook seafood.
Jason has taken his passion for the fishing industry and coupled it with his knowledge of the hospitality industry and developed Geaux Seafood.
